James L. Poorman
James L. Poorman, 80. 762 Big Plum Run Road, Lock Haven, Pa., died May 11, 2021 at Jersey Shore Hospital.
Born June 4, 1940 in Lock Haven, Pa., he was the son of the late Chester and Dorothy Rogers Poorman. On Oct. 25, 1968 in Swissdale he married Janice L. Barnhart, who survives at home.
Jim was a 1958 graduate of the Lock Haven High School and had worked at Piper Aircraft in the stock room and worked for 20 years as a salesman at MacIntyre Auto, Lock Haven, Pa.
He was a member of the Romola Bible Church, B.P.O.E #182, Layfette Lodge 199, F&AM, Clinton County Shrine Club, the Jaffa Shrine, Altoona, Pa., and American Legion Post 623, Beech Creek, Pa.
Janet Beth Gallup
Janet Beth Gallup, 70, of Chambersburg, Pa., passed away on May 9, 2021 at her residence, surrounded by her family and friends.
She was born to parents Paul L. Robb and Claire Harris Robb, on Jan. 1, 1951 in Lock Haven. Janet holds the distinguished title of being the first female baby born on New Year’s Day in 1951.
She graduated from Lock Haven High School in 1968 and the Erie school districts LPN program in 1982. She then went on to study nursing at Edinboro University and graduated with an RN, BSN in 2000. She was a past member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Earl Cloyd Hague Jr.
Earl “Tony” Cloyd Hague Jr., 63, passed away at his home in Inman, S.C. on Tuesday, March 16, 2021.
He was born on July 11, 1957, son of the late Earl Cloyd Hague Sr. and Delores Dowling.
Earl was a 1975 graduate of Lock Haven High School. After graduating, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.
He worked in many fields, including his favorites “pizza man” and construction. His many occupations led him to travel, working his way across the U.S. including Hawaii and back to Lock Haven.
Earl always had a story to tell. He was a “macho man”. He has the kindest heart and loved with his whole heart. He always protected those he loved.
Kimberly Kay McDermit
Kimberly Kay McDermit, 59, of Lock Haven, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport Hospital.
Born Oct. 27, 1961 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Marsden and Leona Cowher Condo.
Kim was a 1979 graduate of Lock Haven High School and enjoyed remaining active with her class functions over the years.
She was employed as a Certified Nurse Assistant with many providers over her career with her longest tenure being with Williamsport Hospital. Her last work placement was with PRN Home Health Services of Williamsport.
On May 19, 2012 in Lock Haven, Kim married Gregory A. McDermit, who survives.
