What we’re getting The land now known as the Park Blocks and Butterfly Lot was first donated in 1856 by the Skinner and Mulligan families, Eugene pioneers who wanted to create a unifying public square for the new community. You may call me an alarmist but NO ONE should ever go near a downed tree let alone go underneath one. The photo gives one to think that this is a fun activity and not a potentially dangerous or even deadly activity. I ask that you be more safety conscious when publishing photos and include warnings when safety is questionable.”
