Tuesday May 25th, 2021 Shipping alcoholic beverages by mail. That’s the intent behind a bill introduced last week by U.S.
Representative’s Dan Newhouse, of Washington state, and Jackie Speier, of California.
The House co-sponsors introduced the USPS Shipping Equity Act, a bipartisan bill that would end the Prohibition-era ban preventing the Postal Service from shipping adult beverages.
Newhouse says the Act would give rural producers another option for shipping alcoholic beverages, increasing market access and business investment in our communities. The latest U.S. Drought Monitor isn’t offering any good news for the West.

Islamabad: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar on Monday said the federal government s Kamyab Jawan’ Programme was ensuring financial inclusion of the poor and marginalised segments of society.
Addressing a certificate awarding and cheque distribution ceremony under the ‘Kamyab Jawan’ Programme here, the premier s aide said the inclusion of youth in decision making was the main priority of the government.
He urged the youth to be the part of the programme and assist the government in creating job opportunities. Around 100,000 youth have so far been given technical training in 18 different sectors and Rs1 billion has been spent for the purpose, he said.
