Bozeman City Commission approves Buffalo Run Annexation, High Density Zoning off of Fowler Lane MTN News and last updated 2021-04-21 22:15:47-04 BOZEMAN — On Tuesday night, Bozeman City Commission approved the Buffalo Run annexation and zoning designation, but it didn’t go without strong pushback. “Lots of hard decisions we have to make. This is one of the hardest,” said Commissioner I-Ho Pomeroy late on Tuesday evening. The Bozeman City Commission voted 4-1 in favor of annexing the roughly 20 acres of land off of Fowler Lane and designating it as R-4 Residential High Density District zoning. The Zoning Commission met late last month, and heard from many residents of the nearby Meadow Creek subdivision who said they were concerned specifically about the high-density zoning designation and what that could mean for the neighboring homes.

Police say around 7:29 p.m., they responded to a single-vehicle crash on Jefferson Avenue near Meadow Creek Drive. When officers arrived they found a sedan that ran off roadway and crashed into a utility pole. The drive, a 29-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. Updated: 8:40 AM EDT April 18, 2021 NEWPORT NEWS, Va. Police are investigating a crash that killed a man near Meadow Creek Drive Saturday evening. The Newport News Police Department said it got a call on Saturday, April 17 just before 7:30 p.m. about a single-vehicle crash that occurred on Jefferson Avenue. When officers arrive at the scene, they found a sedan that ran off the road and crashed into a utility pole. They said a 29-year-old man was driving the vehicle and he died there. Police have not provided any further details regarding the crash and the investigation is still ongoing at this time.
