The trial begins today for one of the men, charged in the murder of a Danville teen. Police say Justin Jones was arrested in Caswell County, North Carolina last March. Family members say 17-year-old Hakeem King was gunned down outside a home on Arnett Boulevard. The trial is scheduled to take two days.

Local high school bands are finding ways to make beautiful music this holiday season â even if itâs in very different ways than they expected.
Earlier this month, Southwesternâs band recorded their seasonal concert â performed outside, with masks made to go around instruments â and played it on YouTube so families of the students could see and hear. Sibling school Pulaski County High School is getting ready to air their winter concert this Sunday, December 20 â with more candy cane-like twists.
