The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has join forces with some notable Nigerians in diaspora to form a Coalition called “mission Nigeria rescue.”
According to Kenneth Chibuogwu Gbandi, the newly appointed Deputy National Chairman, Diaspora Engagement of African Democratic Congress, the involvement of Nigerians in Diaspora in the social-political transformation of Nigeria has now become an SOS call.
He said Nigerians in diaspora will to team up with our credible compatriots in Nigeria to execute “Mission Nigeria Rescue” to salvage the sinking ship of a great nation Nigeria.
Gbandi’s disclosed this a keynote speech during the ADC-DN 1st Global Roundtable (FGR) on the yesterday noting that the ADC considers the Diaspora an important stakeholder and have gone beyond the usual Nigerian lip services by structurally integrating Nigerians in Diaspora as the 7th geopolitical zone of the party.

Many Nigerian students abroad have faced hostilities in their schools, often in the form of racism and murder. Despite the injustice against Nigerians studying abroad, the Nigerian government has not taken concrete steps to prevent its citizens ill-treatments.
In this report, SaharaReporters interviewed some Nigerians students about their unpleasant experiences while studying abroad, revealing the most notorious countries for Nigerians and why the government needs to act.
Diaspora opens new chapter in Russian-Nigerian business ties

As part of efforts to connect Russia with Nigeria and to lure potential Russian investors and business people to Nigeria and vice versa, a business lecture platform “Doing Business with Nigeria” has been created in November. Its primary aim is to get the Russian business community to understand the economic and investment potential as well as the current market conditions in Nigeria.
In a brief interview, Dr Rex Essenowo, Chairman of the Russian Chapter of Nigerians in Diaspora Organization in Europe (NIDOE), and a member of the Board of Trustees talks about the first business lecture held late November and the future perspectives of overall Nigeria-Russian economic cooperation to IDN’s Kester Kenn Klomegah.
