Another concert is coming to Lubbock.
It s beginning to get hard to keep track of all the concerts and shows coming to Lubbock over the next several months. And after a year of no live music and productions, I think it s great to see.
On Monday, the United Supermarkets Arena announced the band MercyMe have announced their fall 2021
inhale (exhale) tour. The tour will take the band, along with Fair Trade Services artist Micah Tyler, to 30 cities across the United States. And the tour will begin here in Lubbock on Thursday, September 30th, 2021.
MercyMe will perform at the United Supermarkets Arena on September 30th at 7 p.m. According to a press release, MercyMe just released a new album which is climbing the charts:
Billboard Music Award and Dove Award-winning band MercyMe has released their long-awaited tenth studio record,
inhale (exhale) today. Tomorrow morning, members of the band will be on FOX & Friends to talk about the new project before a pre-taped performance of their new single, Say I Won t is aired.
Last night, SiriusXM - The Message (Ch. 63) exclusively premiered the album on their
inhale (exhale) Album Reveal Special, which will be rebroadcast multiple times throughout this weekend. The special was the first place fans were able to hear the album from top to bottom - hearing the story behind each song as told by the band. Afterwards, the band joined SiriusXM listeners in a virtual After-Party in The Message Blue Room event and were joined by special guests featured on the album, Gary LeVox (Rascal Flatts) and Gloria Gaynor.

Performers included firefighters and first responders who played their bagpipes and drums for communities across the state and an ICU nurse whose voice was the sound of caring during the pandemic.
Raditya “Rad” Muljadi is an 11-year-old fifth-grader from Parker, CO. His performance at Red Rocks was a showstopper, as he wowed and inspired the crowd of 2,500 attendees.
For more than eight decades, Red Rocks has hosted the biggest acts in music history, but few performances had more heart on stage than what we saw tonight.

The Red Rocks 8 o’clock Howl opens the iconic venues’ 80th anniversary, not with platinum-selling acts, but those who have kept the music playing during the Covid-19 pandemic from their front porches, churches, yards and hospitals.
Among the performers:
· Intensive Care Unit nurse Emily Worthem who sang for patients at UC Health
· Dove Award-winning vocalist JoFoKe, trumpeter Shane Endsley and pianist Adam Waite performed gospel and jazz online
· The nationally-ranked Longmont High School drumline competed nationally – but online
· Special remarks from Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock
