People arriving in the Northern Territory from the New South Wales Local Government Areas listed will no longer have to undertake mandatory supervised quarantine. Anyone currently in mandatory quarantine from these areas will be able to exit.
There has been no COVID-19 cases reported across Sydney’s western suburbs in the past 14 days. Significant testing has been undertaken across Greater Sydney and a number of public health controls remain in place such as limited numbers at events and gatherings and wearing masks when in some public areas. These factors, combined with negative waste water testing results, have worked to prevent any spread of COVID-19 and have reduced the risk to the Northern Territory.
