Brookline police are continuing to search for a man they say allegedly tried to rob a woman on Mother’s Day.
Just after 9 p.m. last Sunday, near the entrance of 99 Pond Ave., police say a man allegedly “aggressively advanced on the victim and demanded her wallet and money.” The woman didn’t have them with her, and the suspect allegedly left when he saw someone else standing in the entrance of the building.
The suspect is described as a white man about 5-foot-4-inches tall with curly hair to his shoulders. He was wearing a green shirt during the incident.
