Pune (Maharashtra) [India], December 15 (ANI): The Pune City Police on Tuesday arrested former MLA Harshvardhan Jadhav for allegedly beating up an elderly couple.
Jadhav, along with his colleague Isha Jha, were booked under sections 307(attempt to murder), 325, 323, 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code on Monday.
As per the complaint registered at the Chatushrungi Police Station, Jadhav and Jha had a dispute with the elderly couple on Monday morning over a minor issue.
The complainant s mother was hit by Harshvardhan Jadhav s vehicle door while she and her husband were passing on a bike. When the couple complained, Jadhav and his female colleague abused and physically assaulted the two.

Over 30 workers of the Maharashtra Youth Congress were detained by Pune City Police after they staged an agitation in support of the farmers’ protest in Delhi, outside Union Minister Prakash Javadekar’s residence in Kothrud area in Pune on Monday.
Police officials said that over 100 persons, including Youth Congress workers and farmers from Pune and adjacent districts, were part of the protest, which was held outside Javadekar’s residence and started around 11 am. Police detained office-bearers of Youth Congress and some others at around 12.30 pm.
Senior Inspector Sunil Tambe, in-charge of Kothrud police station, said, “Youth Congress members, along with some farmers, held a protest outside Prakash Javadekar’s house. We detained them some time after the protest started. They were served a prohibitory notice and were released in the evening.”
Two arrested for ATM card cloning, over 350 fake cards recovered
Police have so far recovered as many as 359 blank and fake ATM cards, 13 skimmer devices, 12 digital micro cameras, 15 micro batteries, 50 data cables, one printer allegedly used for printing fake ATM cards and other electronic items from the duo December 11, 2020 12:27:18 am

Two persons, including a history-sheeter, have been arrested by Pune City Police for allegedly stealing money from ATMs using cloned cards.
Police have identified the accused as Mohammed Faizan Farukh Chhatriwala (37) and Mohammed Akil Adil Bhoraniya (37), both residents of Dongri in Mumbai.
