The Menlo School girls basketball team practiced Monday after being in quarantine for 10 days due to a positive COVID-19 test. The team last played on April 28.
Three West Bay Athletic League games against Sacred Heart Prep, The King’s Academy and Notre Dame-Belmont were not played and are unlikely to be made up. A nonleague road game against Half Moon Bay was also cancelled.

On the boys side, Gunn (6-6) earned the seventh seed and Sacred Heart Prep (6-5) qualified and will play Monday at Homestead (6-7).
Menlo (9-0) earned a bye into the second round and will host the winner of Harker (3-4) at Lynbrook (7-3) on Wednesday afternoon.
The Titans will host a second-round match against either Westmont (6-2) or Aragon (5-5).
A total of nine SCVAL teams, who only learned Friday they were eligible to participate, were selected for the tournament, with Cupertino (9-1) the highest seed at No. 3.
The finals are slated for May 27, likely at the home of the higher seed.

Owen Duffy went into beast mode with seven goals to lead the Friars to a 15-11 win over rival Chaminade (N.Y.), but he wasn’t the only standout.
Andrew McAdorey had two goals and four assists, Mike Leo added three goals and one helper and Jordan Naso went 17-for-30 on faceoffs. Wins over Iona Prep (N.Y.) and Fordham Prep (N.Y.) followed for the Friars, which are now the no-doubt top team in the national rankings.
The Flyers bounced back from a tight loss to St. Anthony’s to defeat Delbarton (N.J.) 8-6. Charles Balsamo led with four goals and one assist, Ben Bonafede had one goal and one assist, Mac Rodriguez added a pair of helpers and Alex Zepf made 10 saves.
