Tk 15 lakh from PM’s welfare fund allotted in Jamalpur 86 JAMALPUR, April 26, 2021 (BSS)- District Administration will disburse cash aid, received from the Prime Minister’s Relief and Welfare fund, tomorrow to the poor people here aiming to ease their sufferings due to Covid-19 pandemic. District Relief and Rehabilitation Office sources said Taka 15 lakh was allotted in the district from the fund to carry out the aid programme. Under the programme, each of 1,200 people will get 10 kilograms of rice and cash Taka 500, the sources added. The aid will disburse among sex workers, transgender (Hijra), porter, hawker, day labourers, transport workers, shop workers and handicapped people of the district.
