As reported by 9to5Mac, Apple does not include ear cushions when replacing AirPods Max headphones. One reader experienced this first hand when they ran into an issue with the Digital Crown on his AirPods Max headphones.
Damien Menn sent the headphones in for repair at Apple and, instead of fixing and sending his original headphones back to him, replaced the entire unit - except for the ear cushions. My AirPods Max had an issue with the Digital Crown. I received a replacement pair today! They come inside those little sockets . Also, no ear-cups included, unlike the AirPods Pro that ship with new silicon tips.

The original Shield case for AirPods Max was released as an alternative to Apple s Smart Case that offered additional protection and storage. The first designs to release were made from leather and came in four colorways.
Now WaterField Designs is releasing blue, red, and green colorways in a Forza textile. This rugged high-performance fabric is both durably as well as water-resistant.

Apple is reportedly testing new cases and covers for iPhone which could introduce some ‘mind-blowing’ capabilities to Apple Silicone cases.
For quite some time now we’ve been able to charge Apple Pencil by magnetically connecting it to the iPad. Now, it seems like Apple is extending that capability to the iPhone, via its official cases. One of the patents even suggests that Apple has developed an iPhone case that could potentially charge your AirPods, eliminating the need for carrying AirPods cases separately.
