UK investment firm chief executive steps down, as private bank makes c-suite change AllianceBernstein The UK chief executive and head of Emea client group Jamie Hammond is leaving the firm at the end of the month, our sister publication Portfolio Adviser has learned. Hammond will depart at the end of February after five years “to pursue new opportunities”. Before joining AB in January 2016, Hammond spent 15 years at Franklin Templeton where he was managing director of Europe, heading its retail and institutional business across the region. AB chief administrative officer (UK) Ian Foster has been named acting chief executive and Onur Erzan, head of global client group, will oversee Emea distribution while a permanent replacement for Hammond is found.
