They Say It Runs In The Family Brenna and Braylen at the XC UIL State Meet They say…”it runs in the family” ….athletic ability that is. Hansford County cousins have proven that fact in 2020 when they both medaled in the State UIL Cross Country Meet held in November. Braylen Lusby is a freshman at Spearman High and won 3rd place with her XC team who won 8th overall in the 3-A Division. Brenna Butler is a sophomore at Gruver High and won 4th place with her XC team who placed 2nd in the 2-A Division. Both come from a long line of talented athletes. Ben Butler was an outstanding athlete at Perryton High, his wife and (mom) Jill played basketball in Spearman and then on to a basketball scholarship at Eastern New Mexico.
