Corinth Holders senior quarterback Isaiah Faulkner rushed for two touchdowns in the half-field scrimmage with New Hanover, which featured 10 plays for each offense/defense before swapping.
New Hanover (Mideastern) traveled from Wilmington to Archer Lodge without A/C on the team busses, but took the field against Rocky Mount (Big East) for a preseason scrimmage.
Corinth Holders welcomed seven other high schools to its campus for preseason football on Friday night. The Pirate Pigskin Kickoff was broken down in two "pod" segments with four teams competing at 6:00 PM, then four others playing around 7:50 PM.
