NEW LONDON A member of the city’s Board of Education was the target of a “vile and threatening” message last week that police say they are investigating as a hate crime.
Police said the incident is believed to have happened sometime between 8 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. on Jan. 13.
In a public post on her Facebook page on Jan. 13, Regina Mosley, president of the New London Board of Education, said she came home to a BOE packet on her porch. She said a note had been scrawled on it as well.
