He was not wearing a life vest. Search and rescue efforts began that day and continued until his body was found at about 6:45 a.m. Wednesday. According to the news release, a 22-year-old from Roseville was driving a 2017 Toyota Rav4 eastbound on Kandiyohi County Road 33 and failed to yield as it crossed Kandiyohi County Road 2. The Rav4 struck a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 towing a fishing boat, driven by a 60-year-old from Gibbon, heading northbound on Kandiyohi County Road 2.
