A president who loses an election cannot be “reinstated.”
If that person has only served one term, like Donald Trump, he can run again for that office. But there is no provision in the U.S. Constitution to remove a president who has won the election and replace him with someone who has lost.
That doesn’t happen in democratic republics.
That happens in banana republics.
But that, apparently, is what Trump wants.
