The New Mexico Ice Wolves of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward
Jackson Wille has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Hamline University in Saint Paul, MN.
In two seasons in the NAHL with the Ice Wolves, the Forest Lake, MN native Wille, 20, has played 92 games during the 2020-21 and 2019-20 seasons. The 5’10/200 lbs. forward has scored 15 points (10 goals, 5 assists) during his time in New Mexico and is excited to make the move back to Minnesota to attend and play for Hamline University starting next hockey season.
“I’m very grateful for the opportunity to continue my hockey career for Hamline University and want to thank my parents, teammates, coaches and the New Mexico Ice Wolves organization,” Wille said. “Coach Phil Fox and the entire coaching staff have helped develop my game and guide me to the next level. I’m looking forward to finishing our season strong with just three more games.”

Amarillo 4 @ Shreveport 5 (SO) - The Shreveport Mudbugs pulled off one of the most improbable comebacks of the season and clinched the South Division title in the process as they shocked the Amarillo Bulls 5-4 in a shootout. Trailing 4-2 with under two minutes remaining, Billy Feczko scored on the power play for his second of the night to bring Shreveport within one. Dawson Sciarrino lit the lamp just 30 seconds later to tie the game at four with his 11th of the year. Adam Kolcon scored the only goal of the shootout to give the Mudbugs the win and the division championship. Sean Bunting also scored in the win for Shreveport while Arseniy Sergeev stopped 33 shots in 65 minutes and all three shooters in the skills competition. Harrison Scott, Paul Schmid, Jere Vaisanen and Nick Siffringer all scored in the second period
