Min Jung Kim, executive director of New Britain Museum of American Art, has been appointed as chair of Connecticut Arts Council. Adriane Jefferson, executive director of City of New Haven, Department of Cultural Affairs, is the newest appointee.

NEW BRITAIN No Boundaries Youth Theater Company’s winter classes begin Jan. 25 and are being held online. Space is limited and registration is encouraged, as soon as possible. While the website is being rebuilt, families can email patrique@nbyt.org to register for any of these classes.
Playwriting with Ms Rae: Write a new play, and work with Rae as she guides through the art of creating dialogue for characters. At the end the class will host a virtual play reading with members of the class and members of the community reading each other’s short plays. Open to ages 11-16, classes run Jan. 25-March 1, playwriting; March 8, 15, script reading rehearsal and share, 6-7:30 p.m. Free, with suggested donation of $40 for the 6 week series.
