NEW BRAUNFELS, TX â A Fort Hood man is dead after losing control of his vehicle and crashing into a construction zone in New Braunfels Monday morning.
Around 7:20 a.m. on Monday, April 26, the New Braunfels Police Department and New Braunfels Fire Department were dispatched to the southbound frontage road in the 5200 block of I-35 North for a single vehicle crash.
When officers arrived, they found a gold Volkswagen Passat had left the roadway and crashed into a utility pole before rolling over and coming to a stop in a field off the southbound access road just north of the TA Truck Stop.

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – All four northbound lanes of Interstate Highway 35 have been closed off following a major traffic collision near FM 306, New Braunfels Police said.
Police said the crash happened just past FM 306 and all traffic is being diverted onto the access road at the exit for FM 306.

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – A motorcyclist in New Braunfels was hit and killed by two oncoming cars after a crash with a pickup truck Thursday evening, the New Braunfels Police Department said.
The crash occurred around 5:45 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 46 West at Oak Run Point.
According to the New Braunfels Police Department, Russell Camp III, 38, was wearing a helmet and was traveling inbound on Highway 46 when he had the crash with a pickup truck. That’s when, police said, the force of the collision caused Camp to veer into the opposite lanes of traffic where he was struck by the two oncoming cars.
