A mother-of-two has revealed her horrific injuries after her violent boyfriend brutally kicked and punched her in front of her children on Christmas Day.
Kirsty Whewell, 30, said her house in Staffordshire was left looking like a murder scene after her partner Simon Paul Jones, 34, launched a terrifying attack on her last December.
Jones was jailed for 33 months at Stafford Crown Court after he was caught following a police chase down the M6 in January. He pleaded guilty to ABH and criminal damage.
Ms Whewell met Jones on Facebook in October 2019, and soon after the pair began dating. On Christmas Eve, Jones told the mother-of-two he loved her and asked if she wanted to become an item.

A man has been charged with manslaughter after a prisoner died at HMP Brinsford in South Staffordshire.

HMP Brinsford in Featherstone
Abdi Rehman Esa, age 20, of HMPYOI Brinsford, has been charged with manslaughter following an assault at the prison in Featherstone on Saturday, December 5.
The victim, a 26-year-old man, was taken to New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton and then to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham with head injuries but died on Sunday, December 6.
Esa will appear before magistrates at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre this morning.
