The Mississippi Link give a special salute to seven Living Legends among us, those who have been in the trenches for decades and still pushing forward their progressive boundaries.
These Mississippians are reflective of the resilience of our collective heritage. The Hon. Constance Iona Slaughter-Harvey describes it this way:

Russia Is Back in Tajikistan
The collapse of the Soviet Union brought tough times to Tajikistan. A desire to reverse fortunes could lead to a return to Russia.
Tajik Prime Minister Kokhir Rasulzoda flew to Moscow on February 8 for talks on closer military and economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia, as the trend of former Soviet states drawing closer to Russia continues.
During the meeting, Col. Gen. Alexander Lapin, commander of Russia’s Central Military District, lauded the increasing military cooperation between the nations. Since 2014, Russian specialists have trained more than 7,000 Tajik servicemen. This training, he said, “significantly affects the increase in combat readiness of the armed forces of the Republic of Tajikistan.”

I have recently been lead to the Book of Yashar (Jasher), or the Upright Record . It is not Canon, but was referenced at least twice in Canon Scripture. Nothing I have seen so far contradicts the Canon Scriptures, and it explains things that are not explained in Canon Scriptures. For example: Cain s offered the inferior fruit of the ground (Yasher 1:16) and that is why his offering was rejected. Another Bible story that is more fully explained is the building of the Ark and the ministry of Noah and his grandfather Methuselah during that time. Yashar 5 states several times that those who followed YHWH died before the Flood so they would not feel the wrath of YHWH.
