FAA investigates helicopter crash in Lebanon County

A Saturday helicopter crash that injured a pilot near Palmyra is under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration.
The crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. at the Reigle Airport on the 1800 block of South Forge Road, South Londonderry Township.
According to the FAA’s preliminary investigation, the pilot was the only person onboard the 2015 Robinson R66 helicopter when it crashed in a field.
What caused the the helicopter to crash is under investigation.
The helicopter’s registered owner is Donagair in Harrisburg, according to FAA records. Officials there could not immediately be reached for comment.
