If they do not do so the Council can apply to the Court for an order. Tregurra Park and Ride will remain closed until the situation is resolved and drivers are asked not to use the car park at this time. People intending to travel by car to Truro who would normally use the Tregurra Park and Ride site are encouraged to make alternative arrangements where possible. The Park and Ride at Langarth will be operating a partial bus service into the City centre, looping around Victoria Square. Limited parking will be available in the visitor spaces at New County Hall for access to the Park and Ride stop at County Arms for those who have Park and Ride passes.
Cornwall Council has said they will be applying for a court order to remove the encampment after having warned the group of travellers occupying a park and ride in Truro that they need to have left the area by this morning (Tues 18). In an update this afternoon the council said: As the unauthorised encampment have not left the Tregurra Park and Ride site, Cornwall Council will be applying for a court order tomorrow to remove the group. The Park and Ride will remain closed until the situation has been resolved, and it is hoped that the normal service can then be resumed from next week.
