POLICE REPORTS FOR MARCH 9, 2021 By John Smathers Mar 9, 2021 1:42 PM State Police in DuBois say two Brookville residents were injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred in Polk Township of Jefferson County on Thursday. Troopers say the crash occurred on Richardsville Road when the driver, 43-year-old Michelle Beck, began to slide on the ice covered roadway. Police say the vehicle then stuck an embankment and overturned. Beck and her passenger were transported to Penn Highlands Hospital with unknown injuries. State Police in DuBois are investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred in Washington Township of Jefferson County on Sunday. Troopers say the one-vehicle crash happened along Kyle Run Road near Stevenson Hill Road when the driver, 38-year-old Robert Steele Sr. of Brockport, crossed into the opposite lane while negotiating a curve.
