NO NEW COVID-19 DEATHS IN JEFFERSON COUNTY FOR FIRST TIME SINCE LAST MONDAY

Punxsutawney, PA / WPXZ 104.1 FM Dec 28, 2020 2:33 PM There have been no new coronavirus-related deaths in Jefferson County for the first time since last Monday, according to the latest PA Department of Health data. There are 28 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the county’s total to 1,801. The Punxsutawney Spirit says of those cases, 1,192 are confirmed and 609 are probable. There has been a total of 35 COVID-19 deaths in Jefferson County.

According to the Punxsutawney Spirit, Borough Managager Toby Santik says roads will come first so they can be cleared for emergency vehicles.
