Te Kehu won the junior super heavyweight title at the New Zealand Amateur Boxing Championships last month. In June last year, aged 14, he won the cadets heavyweight division at the North Island Golden Gloves. Te Kehu now has a record of six wins from seven fights, but the number of fights he has had has been restricted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
