– WWE Hall of Famer “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase announced that he’ll be making another appearance on NXT later next week for his ongoing storyline with Cameron Grimes. You can see a video DiBiase released with the announcement below.
DiBiase spoke about buying property in Florida in the clip. He stated the following:
“You know, everybody is telling me, ‘Don’t buy property in Florida, it’s too hot. There’s never a winter season.’ You what I tell them? ‘I’m the Million Dollar Man and I’ll buy whatever I want.’ Besides, what’s another $20 million mansion in a state that has no income tax? But the best part about buying property in Orlando is it’s just a short limousine ride away from the Capitol Wrestling Center. That’s right, so Cameron Grimes, NXT Universe, I’ll see you this Tuesday on NXT.”

Dakota Kai vs. Mercedes Martinez
We go right to the ring and out first comes Dakota Kai with NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez. They pose in the middle of the ring to a mixed reaction. Mercedes Martinez is out next as Alicia Taylor does the ring introductions. Gonzalez stares down her next challenger as she marches to the ring.
WWE Hall of Famer Ted Dibiase sat down with fellow Hall of Famer Booker T on the latter’s Reality of Wrestling podcast. The two compared their era to the modern era of wrestling, and Dibiase pointed out some key differences he felt have hindered the modern product.
“I would say a lot of the guys today, through know fault of their own…I mean my generation and your generation were the last to learn the business the way it was always taught,” Dibiase said. “A guy would take you in the ring and teach you out to take the basic bumps to protect yourself. And then you’d just get in the ring and go.
Former WWE writer and co-executive producer of “Young Rock” Brian Gewirtz was on a recent episode of
The Masked Man Show with David Shoemaker and Kazeem Famuyide. Gewirtz was asked which storyline he wrote he thinks is deserving of an Emmy nomination, and he chose Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels’ feud in 2007 – 2008.
“I mean without question, Hornswoggle as the general manager of
RAW would have to be the Emmy that would be displayed on the Billboards of Los Angeles everywhere ‘for your consideration’,” Gewirtz joked. “I’ve always been really proud of the Jericho – Shawn Michaels year-long, practically, angle that we did when Jericho was transitioning, in terms of his character, as far as this begrudge suit-wearing hell.
