Ventura County recorded just 46 new COVID-19 cases over the weekend, the lowest weekend tally since at least June, public health data released Monday showed. Monday s report, which includes data collected Friday, Saturday and Sunday, showed a large drop compared weekend reports over the past month or so. Previously, the Monday tally of new cases has been below 100 just one time since June: on March 15, when 79 infections were confirmed over the weekend.
