Evan Rachel Wood the actor, singer and activist has alleged that Marilyn Manson “horrifically abused” for years her when they were in a relationship, which she has alluded to when speaking about being a survivor of domestic violence in several interviews over the years. Wood and Manson’s relationship became public in 2007 when she was 19 and he was 38. They became engaged in 2010, but broke up later that year.
In an Instagram post early Monday morning, and in a statement to Vanity Fair, Wood said: “The name of my abuser is Brian Warner, also known to the world as Marilyn Manson. Evan Rachel Wood released a statement Monday morning alleging that Marilyn Manson abused her during the course of their relationship, which ended in 2010. They began dating when Wood was 19 in 2007 and Manson was 38, getting engaged in 2010 before breaking up.
“The name of my abuser is Brian Warner, also known to the world as Marilyn Manson,” Wood wrote on Instagram. “He started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years. I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission. I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander, or blackmail. I am here to expose this dangerous man and call out the many industries that have enabled him before he ruins any more lives. I stand with the many victims who will no longer be sil

Manson s label, Loma Vista Recordings, said in a statement that after the “disturbing allegations,” it will “cease to further promote his current album” and has “also decided not to work with Marilyn Manson on any future projects.”
Wood and Manson s relationship became public in 2007 when he was 38 and she was 19, and they were briefly engaged in 2010 before breaking up.
Wood, now 33, said in her post that Manson left her “brainwashed and manipulated into submission.
