The Phoenix Suns took to Twitter Monday afternoon to urge fans to refrain from violence after a fight broke out during a rally on Sunday.
“A friendly reminder to all Phoenix Suns fans across the Valley and beyond about what it means to rep your team,” the team tweeted. “Revel in the excitement of the Suns and the 2021 NBA Finals. Cheer loudly. Wear your gear proudly. And show respect for your fellow NBA fans no matter who they rep.”
The team said the incident occurred during a “Road Game Rally” at the Phoenix Suns Arena on Sunday where fans could watch the away game on massive screens for $10 per seat.
