She was a resident of Rock Springs for her whole life. Mrs. Ryder was born February 13, 1951 in Rock Springs, Wyoming; the daughter of James R. Zelenka and Elsie M. Cilensek Zelenka. She attended schools in Rock Springs and was a 1969 graduate of Rock Springs High School. She obtained an Associates of Education from Western Wyoming Community College. Kathy married Sam J. Dolores Wilson Finney Speight WILLIAMSBURG Dolores Wilson Finney Speight, 78, was escorted by angels to her heavenly home Friday, Jan. 1, 2021, surrounded by her husband, children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, William “Bill” Speight; children, Michael (Diana), Stephen (Angie), Jeffrey (Gina), Deborah Wright (Chris) and Angela Warren (Wayne); 14 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren with one on the way, along with six step-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Krummell (Charlie), Sharon Hundley (Jim) and Kathryn Newsom (the late Jeffrey). She was born on March 23, 1945, in Alton, the daughter of the Charles and Thelma (Miller) Suchy. Survivors include a daughter: Michele Renee Forrester of Rosewood Heights and many friends. Pamela was employed for thirty - eight years by the State of Illinois as a Case Worker and later as an Administrator. She was member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wood River. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She loved to travel with her daughter and loved seeing the palm trees.
