PHOENIX (AP) Arizona prosecutors are seeking the stiffest possible prison sentence for a former metro Phoenix politician convicted in an illegal adoption scheme one that could land him behind bars for as many as 18 years.

She graduated from Omaha Burke High School before going to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. She has minors in English and Criminal Justice.
In college, Abbie interned at a Lincoln station where she also did some reporting. After graduating, she took a job at another Lincoln station where she was a reporter for two-and-a-half years. There, she won two Heartland Emmy Awards. She covered everything from historic flooding to a Southeast Lincoln tornado that devastated historic businesses.
