The woman, who lived near Ludlow, was woken up at 4am by the sound of her front door being knocked down by two hooded men – Ben Markham and an as-yet-unidentified accomplice.
Shrewsbury Crown Court heard on Tuesday that Markham, 28, and the other man entered the woman s bedroom, each wielding a crowbar, and began shouting at her: Where is it? Where s the money?
She was intimidated into opening her safe, where cash in the region of £18,000 to £20,000 was stored alongside several chains and rings inherited from the woman s mother, according to prosecutor Miss Suzanne Francis.

candlePower octo LED dimmer used on Dublin monument
Ireland – candlePower octo, the versatile new constant current/voltage LED driver from Artistic Licence, has been installed at Dublin s Wolfe Tone National Monument, just in time to ensure a patriotic green wash for St. Patrick s Day on 17th March this year.
The monument, which commemorates the 18th century Irish revolutionary Wolfe Tone, consists of a bronze sculpture and imposing backdrop of granite monoliths. EmCon Systems, the Irish lighting technology solution providers, were responsible for delivering a system that could provide subtle white illumination, with automatic triggering of special effects such as colour washes, or a rippling national flag on calendar days of note.

We have influence, i.e. ordering, quantities asked for and delivery timelines, but we have no control over these being met. When the vaccine arrives here, we have much more control in the logistics of delivery and application because we have the compliant sta
