Bach helps Diss resident and stroke survivor to get back to playing the piano

Bach helps Diss resident and stroke survivor to get back to playing the piano  | Updated: 20:11, 25 February 2021 A keen pianist, who lost the use of an arm after suffering a stroke, has rediscovered his hobby again thanks to the help of a close friend. Peter Ellis, 60, of Diss, was left paralysed on the left side of his body after suffering a stroke in 2018 and, despite extensive rehabilitation, has not regained the full use of his arm. “I was in a sorry state after my stroke – emotionally, physically and spiritually,” he said. Mr Ellis is playing the piano once again “I couldn’t even do regular tasks, let alone play the piano.”
