Amazon Studios is starting production on the rom-com “
I Want You Back,” starring Charlie Day, Jenny Slate, Gina Rodriguez, Scott Eastwood, Manny Jacinto, and Clark Backo. Jason Orley, who also directed “Big Time Adolescence,” will helm the project, working from a script by “Love, Simon” writers and “This Is Us” co-showrunners Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger.
Peter Safran and John Rickard of The Safran Company, and Aptaker and Berger of The Walk-Up Company. are producing the movie, with production slated to start early next month in Atlanta. The extended cast includes Jami Gertz, Jordan Carlos, Midori Francis, Mason Gooding, Isabel May, and Luke David Blumm.

Emma (Slate) and Peter (Day) thought they were on the precipice of life’s biggest moments – marriage, kids, and houses in the suburbs – until their respective partners dumped them. In their thirties and terrified that they have missed their shot at happily ever after, Emma and Peter are horrified to learn that their partners have already moved on. With no prospects on the horizon and the threat of dying alone hanging over their heads, they hatch a desperate plan to put an end to their exes’ new relationships and win them back.

(Enterprise photo â Aaron Cerbone) TUPPER LAKE The Tupper Lake town board is drafting a letter to the Franklin County Board of Legislators, letting the county know the town is interested in discussing the Big Tupper Ski Area property if the county forecloses on it this spring. In this letter the town board will express interest in having the chance to purchase the property it used to own and run as a recreation area in 1960s, ’70s and ’80s. It is not an actual request to purchase the land. The county may foreclose on the property in the coming months, taking it from the owners for unpaid taxes, but has not started the process to do so yet.

On airfield operations, the CAA Aerodrome Inspector had said, “Regarding your question on the wider principle of mixed-use hangar developments on aerodromes, we see no reason why it should prejudice the future of this or any other aerodrome, provided that it is compliant with licensing requirements and that operating procedures have been agreed.”
Peter: “The scheme does comply with CAP 168, and operating procedures would be simple: all pre-flight checks are done in the hangar before calling the tower and pushing the aircraft out to start the engine and access the taxiway.
