Klondike Gold 2021 exploration program to begin with 6500 metres expected over 3 phases
Klondike Gold (CVE: KG- OTC: KDKGF) CEO Peter Tallman joined Steve Darling from Proactive to being news the company has started their 2021 exploration season on the Klondike Property in the Yukon. Tallman telling Proactive the drilling program is planned for 6,500 meters will be distributed over three phases and test multiple target areas.
Phase 1 exploration drilling to focus on discovering bedrock sources of gold at the historic the Virgin/Lindow Target areas. Phase 2 drilling to focus on expanding the discovery at the Stander Zone and Phase 3 drilling to focus on outlining a maiden resource on targets within the Lone Star Zone.

Murphy was recently sworn in as acting mayor and will serve until shortly after the November election.
John Brunelle of B and B Real Estate said the city’s greatest asset is Holyoke Gas & Electric. The city “dropped the ball” in not allowing the expansion of the area’s natural gas supply, he said.
In the past year, Brunelle said, developers “lost opportunities” as HG&E imposed a natural gas moratorium on new residential and commercial customers. More than 100 potential customers had to find alternative fuel sources, he said.
U.S. Rep. Richard Neal announces nearly $32 million in American Rescue Plan money for Holyoke

HOLYOKE – U.S. Rep. Richard E. Neal (D-MA) said the City of Holyoke will receive nearly $32 million from the American Rescue Plan, part of the $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package.
Neal, who chairs the House Ways and Means Committee, joined Acting Mayor Terence Murphy at Holyoke City Hall Friday for the announcement.
With no Republican support, President Joseph R. Biden signed the American Rescue Plan in March. “President Biden’s $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan is ambitious, but achievable, and will rescue the American economy and start beating the virus,” according to www.whitehouse.gov.

HOLYOKE The City Council elected Ward 2 Councilor Terrence Murphy as acting mayor during a special meeting Monday night. Murphy will serve until the November mayoral election.
A recently passed home rule petition granted the City Council one-time authority to appoint any councilor as acting mayor.
City Clerk Brenna Murphy McGee will swear in Murphy at City Hall Tuesday morning. Murphy won on the first ballot 8-5. All 13 councilors voted for Murphy during a symbolic second vote.

HOLYOKE The city has a new mayor for the next seven months, anyway.
In a special meeting Monday, the City Council voted to name Ward 2 Councilor Terence Murphy acting mayor, a role he will fill until a new mayor is elected in November.
Murphy takes over for City Council President Todd McGee, who has been acting mayor since Alex Morse stepped down March 26 to become town manager in Provincetown.
McGee said he could only serve as acting mayor on a temporary basis because of a potential conflict of interest with his employer, MassMutual.
