A policy barring retired Deloitte partners from speaking out in a way that may be âadverse or prejudicialâ to the firm will not stop them from testifying in a landmark age discrimination case against the consulting giant.
The Federal Court last month ordered at least five past Deloitte partners to produce evidence about the circumstances of their retirement, despite a non-disparagement clause tying a lucrative âretirement paymentâ to their silence.
Colin Brown has called on past Deloitte partners to give evidence in his case against the firm.Â
The firm unsuccessfully fought the subpoena request, which also requires that it produces any communications it had regarding retirement with any partners who departed Deloitte within two years of turning 62 since mid-2013.

Now, thanks in part to my campaign, this scandal looks as though it will, finally, come to an end.
