Mr Diri says that when it is time for God’s destined purpose, it will surely manifest.

Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa, on Sunday, joined other Christians in the state to offer praises to God for witnessing the first Sunday of 2021.
Mr Diri, who worshipped at St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Sampou, his hometown, told the congregation that he never knew the community would produce a governor, while he was supporting the governorship aspiration of others.
A statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Daniel Alabrah, quoted Mr Diri as saying that when it is time for God’s destined purpose, it would surely manifest.

An array of important dignitaries, including Chairman of the Orange Drugs Group, Sir Tony Ezenna (Ijele Akokwa) will on Saturday, January 2, 2021 converge on the St. Peter’s Anglican Church field, Akokwa, Ideato North local Government Area of Imo State, for the inauguration of 565 poles solar street light, the first ever self-help community project embarked upon by a non-partisan, non-governmental organisation and pressure group, Akokwa United Empowerment Forum, AUEF.
