Foreigner’s Bismarck Concert RESCHEDULED AGAIN!
WE WERE SO CLOSE!
Classic rock band Foreigner had rescheduled their cancelled 2020 date at the Bismarck Event Center to April of 2021. It was to be the first big concert to hit the region since the pandemic shut down the North Dakota State Basketball Tournament back in March of 2020. Sure has been plenty silent at the Event Center over the last year.
April 11th, Foreigner was to be the band that cut the ribbon for our live event grand re-openings! Our Dakota Garden Expo would follow on April 16th and 17th. Talk about surging into spring! The Dakota Garden Expo will go on as planned but our opening act has now moved to the summer. This press release from the Bismarck Event Center.
JAMESTOWN, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Blue Jays held a 45-33 lead at the halftime break but were unable to hold off the potent offense of Bismarck in the second half as they fell 79-70 on Thursday night.
Carson Lamp returned to form for the Jays, finishing with 17 total points on the evening. Jamestown found a hot streak to end the first half, going on a 26-3 run. However, it was Max Tschosik of Bismarck who heated up in the second half, going on an 8-0 run on his own to help push the Demons ahead.
The Blue Jays drop to 16-6 on the season and snap their four-game winning streak. Jamestown will still have a shot at the state tournament as they take on Mandan in a state qualifier on Saturday at 6:15 in the Bismarck Event Center. Both the girls and boys teams will be facing Mandan, with the Blue Jay girls scheduled to play at 11:45.
