JSO investigating Northside ‘ambush attacks’ on women, attempted sexual battery

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A recent attempted sexual battery on a woman in her Northside home is part of a larger investigation by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office after a series of early morning ambush-style attacks on women were reported in the same area.
JSO said a man recently entered a home through an unsecured window in the Dunn Avenue and Biscayne Boulevard area of Jacksonville’s Northside and attempted to sexually batter a woman before running away.
The victim was not able to get a good look at the suspect.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. The Jacksonville Sheriff s Office is urging residents to be extra cautious after receiving reports of a burglary and attempted sexual battery near Dunn Avenue and Biscayne Boulevard on Jacksonville s Northside.
During the incident, the suspect entered a home through an unsecured window and attempted to sexually batter the victim before leaving the area.
JSO said investigators have also identified a series of early morning ambush-style attacks on women in and around the 11000 block of Biscayne Boulevard.
During these incidents, a young male reportedly hid in dark areas around structures and bushes in the area.

According to reports, rapper SpotemGottem was arrested by U.S. Marshals while in his Aventura hotel room on Thursday. The Beatbox rapper was arrested in connection to an incident that occurred in Miami in June.

U.S. Marshals conducted a special operation in reference to an arrest warrant for Harden. Detectives located him inside room 746 at the AC Hotel Miami Aventura on Biscayne Boulevard around 9:20 p.m., where they said Harden was laying in bed. Next to him, according to detectives they saw a gun “within reach and readily accessible for immediate use.”
