Belarus attends EUROSAI Congress 2021 MINSK, 14 April (BelTA) - Chairman of the State Control Committee Vasily Gerasimov took part in the 11th Congress of the European Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (EUROSAI) held via video conference on 14 April, BelTA learned from the State Control Committee. Heads of Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) and representatives of international organizations considered reports on the activities of EUROSAI, its working and special groups for the last three years, reports of EUROSAI auditors, as well as the implementation of the EUROSAI Strategic Plan for 2017-2024. “This document defines the strategic goals of the organization: support for the effective, innovative and sound auditing through stimulating professional cooperation, assistance to SAIs in seizing new opportunities and addressing emerging challenges through the development of institutional capacity,” the committee said.
