Death to Amerika : Is This Tehran or Is This Antifa?

It looks like it, doesn’t it? But as Logan Ratick of Newsmax reveals, no, it’s not, it’s at a ‘protest’ in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. Brooklyn Center, Minnesota….not Tehran pic.twitter.com/d538mSMg0t The media would like to present these folks as some kind of civil rights workers, concerned about fascism and about black lives. But that’s not what these Antifa folks are about; they’re about that sign. They’re about this chant, “No prisons, no walls, no USA at all” that they chanted over the weekend in Denver. That’s not an aberration, that’s a popular refrain at such marches across the country.

CRS Welcomes Administration s Proposed Increase to International Assistance

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND, April 9, 2020 – Bill O’Keefe, executive vice president for Mission, Mobilization and Advocacy at Catholic Relief Services (CRS), issued the following statement in response to the administration’s FY22 budget request. “The administration’s proposal to increase poverty-focused international assistance in its FY22 budget request demonstrates a steadfast commitment to American leadership abroad. The proposed funding will be vital to tackle the long-term implications of poverty and vulnerability and the compounding challenges that have emerged due to COVID-19. What’s more, it will go toward programs that save millions of lives through childhood vaccinations, clean water access, and skilled response to disasters.

Keeping promise made at Jesuit event, Biden raises refugee cap to 125,000

Instead, little by little, Trump s team whittled away at the numbers in dramatic fashion. Hours after taking office in January 2017, the Trump administration announced it was cutting the cap of 110,000 allowed under the Obama administration to 50,000. The administration consistently lowered the number each fiscal year. In 2019, the Trump administration announced it was setting the cap at 18,000 refugees for the 2020 fiscal year, but fewer than 10,000 were ultimately allowed in. Catholic and other faith-based organizations hailed the news about Biden s executive order. Susan Gunn, director of the Maryknoll Office for Global Concerns, in a Feb. 4 statement, said the organization celebrates this decision.
