On May 10, 2021, we invite you from 19 0’clock at the Church of St. John XXIII in Cologne for the blessing celebration for all (!) loving people. We don’t want to rule anyone out. We celebrate the diversity of different life designs and life stories and ask for God’s blessings. Absolutely without secretivity (sic) and marginalization. So . alone or with companionship (sic), just please remember masks and the distancing rules. We are looking forward to seeing you.”

The Philippines has been consecrated to St. Joseph, the patron of workers, fathers, families, and the universal Church.
Catholic prelates, led by Archbishop Romulo Valles,”have placed the nation under the special patronage of St. Joseph on May 1, his feast day”, CBCP News said. Valles is the current president of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP).

The National Consecration to Saint Joseph was livestreamed from the San Pedro Cathedral in Davao City. It started with a rosary led Cebu Auxiliary Bishop Midyphil Billones from the National Shrine of St. Joseph in Mandaue City, according to CPCP News.

The church, he said, must be open “to fresh ways of bearing witness to the joy of the Gospel and forming vital communities of missionary disciples.”
“In this way, they will be renewed in their love of Christ and in fidelity to their proper charism,” CBCP News quoted the pontiff.
The Pope made the statement during this year’s virtual convention of the Association of Major Religious Superiors of the Philippines (AMRSP).
His message was relayed by Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican’s Secretary of State, and was read to the participants by Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines Archbishop Charles Brown on April 28.
