Sofaer & Co is where Rangoon meets Yangon. The restaurant retains a colonial-era structure and hasn’t altered anything ever since. Although the floor tiles, wooden wall panels, door frames, and windows are still original from the colonial period, it harmonizes with the contemporary design.

When you enter
Belmond Governor’s Residence, it feels like you are entering a place where time stands still in the 1920’s Colonial-era of Burma. All you can experience is the old Burma setting everywhere you look. A tranquil fan-shaped swimming pool and a tropical garden also complete the restaurant’s charming ambiance. What an atmosphere for customers to enjoy fine dining!
