Mississippi man indicted federally in Alabama with conspiracy to commit wire and health care fraud Updated Apr 28, 2021; A Mississippi man who oversees two pharmacies in Walker County and a couple of other states has been indicted for conspiracy to commit wire and health care fraud. A North District of Alabama federal grand jury returned an eight-count indictment against 55-year-old Phillip Anthony Minga. He is charged with wire fraud and health care fraud, as well as the conspiracy charge, according to a joint statement by U.S. Attorney Prim F. Escalona and Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Inspector General, Special Agent in Charge Derrick Jackson.

A similar scene was found at the clinic on Sunday morning as residents, carrying umbrellas and lawn chairs, braved the rain in hopes of receiving one of the 1,100 doses that are expected to be administered today. Some people waiting for a shot on Sunday said they started lining up at 4 a.m., five hours before the pop-up site opened.

Some people waiting for a shot on Sunday said they started lining up at 4 a.m., five hours before the pop-up site opened. “It is great to see so many people coming so early,” Phillip Anthony, a registered practical nurse at Michael Garron Hospital and the mobile vaccine manager for the clinic, told CP24 on Sunday.
