Wunderite Raises $3M in Seed Funding
Wunderite, a Boston, MA-based provider of a customer-facing platform for independent insurance agencies, raised $3m in seed funding.
The round was led by Spark Capital with participation from Boston Seed, John Wepler from MarshBerry, Scott Addis from Beyond Insurance, Brian Hetherington from The ABD Team, Ty Harris from Openly, Andrew Krantz from York International, Heffernan Insurance Brokers, Trustco Inc, and BrokerTech Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Spark Capital’s General Partner Alex Finkelstein joined its Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product development and increase distribution to agencies across the country.

Over 770 players have been deemed good enough to represent Australia in rugby league internationals over the years, whether they be Test matches or World Cup games (including Super League).
Many of those chosen were legends of the game, while others – whose Test careers were significantly shorter – were no less deserving of being chosen. Along the way, though, there were some questionable selections, and some players who must be considered very lucky to have donned the Australian jersey for an international match. With the original super coach, Jack Gibson, taking over from John Peard, the Eels had formed a potent side.
He combined hard heads like Ray Price, Mick Cronin, Steve Edge and Bob O Reilly with a precocious batch of young talent that the Eels had brought through their junior ranks, including future internationals Peter Sterling, Brett Kenny, Eric Grothe, Steve Ella and John Muggleton.
Newtown were a fading inner-city club brought back to life by coach Warren Ryan and the acquisition of former Test halfback Tom Raudonikis as captain.
