COLUMBUS Ohio State has the best wide receivers room in the country.
Chris Olave chose to come back to school, passing up on a high selection in the NFL draft. Olave and fellow returner Garrett Wilson lead a loaded crop of wide receivers into the fall.
The talented wide receivers make quarterbacks look good. But they also know good quarterback play when they see it. They seem to be excited about who the next Ohio State quarterback will be, no matter who becomes the starter. The receivers are confident in C.J. Stroud, Jack Miller and Kyle McCord.
“Every year, we recruit the top dudes and this has been going on forever,” Wilson said. “Coach [Ryan]Day is one of the best in his job in the country. So, I’m very confident in everyone on the team, confident whoever slinging the ball back there is going to be ready to go and be able to take us wherever we’re built to go.

Emeka Egbuka made headlines when he picked the Buckeyes just days before national signing day. The five-star Washington native is the No. 1 receiver in the class and has already turned heads in camp and during his impressive spring game performance.
Marvin Harrison Jr. draws attention because of his physical tools, his high school teammate Kyle McCord, who is currently battling for the starting quarterback job at Ohio State and of course, his NFL bloodlines. Harrison was one of the breakout stars of spring practice.
But the Buckeyes also earned an early commitment back in summer 2019 from four-star receiver Jayden Ballard, a quiet prospect who rarely ever spoke to media, attended camps or did anything a top recruit usually does. AJ Salley, three-star in-state offensive tackle, sets camp visits, includes Ohio State: Buckeyes Recruiting Roundup

COLUMBUS, Ohio - AJ Salley could be getting closer and closer to a dream offer.
The 2023 three-star offensive tackle from Miamisburg High School is ranked as the No. 19 OT in the nation, and the No. 7 overall prospect in Ohio, according to 247sports.com. Salley has five offers early into his recruitment, but could be closing in on the big one.
Salley and the Buckeyes have mutual interest, and it’s building.
The 6-foot-5, 260 pounder put together a strong sophomore campaign, anchoring the offensive line at left tackle for Miamisburg. With a handful of offers, including Cincinnati, Kentucky, Pitt, Toledo, Tennessee and Oregon, Salley is seeing his recruitment hit a new gear, and he’s announced he will be visiting a slew of camps throughout June, including Ohio State on June 16.
